Goose Down: My Geese are Impervious to the Cold

Ever wonder why they make cold-weather gear out of goose down?

My five African geese on a cold winter day, which they don't seem to feel at all. I raised them from goslings. They are 6 years old and quite tame. Sometimes I feel guilty for owning goosedown coats, comforters, pillows, etc.
