Half-Mile Long Chorus Line Paints Las Vegas Strip Red and Purple

The Las Vegas Strip was bright with more than just neon lights on Saturday, as members of the Red Hat Society gathered at Harrah's Las Vegas in an attempt to break a world record. Approximately 1700 "hatters" participated in the choreographed chorus line to welcome the new musical comedy HATS! to Harrah's Las Vegas and to kick their way into history.
"Our entire sisterhood is thrilled that Harrah's has embraced HATS! and the Red Hat Society as part of their family," said Sue Ellen Cooper, founder and "Exalted Queen Mother" of the Red Hat Society. "We wanted to let the world know that we're in Las Vegas and we can-can do anything!"
