Gassville, Arkansas Tornado Aftermath - February 5, 2008 - Part 2
Part 2 is a close-up view of a mobile home that was utterly demolished by the powerful storm. This trailer home was strewn 100 to 200 feet away from its original spot. We walk around the wreckage to see the terrible devastation caused by the tornado.
By Billy Newsom, published Feb 20, 2008Remarkably, the man inside this mobile home survived. When the storm blew open part of his trailer, he jumped into a hole to ride out the storm. The miraculous hole had been made by the large tree in his front yard. Recognizable in the video are his kitchen sink, the blocks where the trailer home used to sit, and his TV. Walls, floors, and insulation are literally everywhere you look. This is part 2 of the Gassville tornado video.
