Many people are in your shoes now. If you can, I would suggest that you stay where you are and try to get caught up on your fix-it projects (be more of a do-it-yourselfer to save money) until the market turns around. What do we do with a house that is falling apart faster than we can afford to fix it up? We'd really like to move to a smaller home but don't know if we will ever be able to sell this one.
