A Hard Qi Gong Exercise

This hard qi gong exercise is used in martial arts to strengthen the arms and shoulders, and to increase 'guardian chi' which enables you to withstand strikes without getting hurt as part of 'iron shirt' or 'steel jacket' training. Exhale and gradually tense the arms and shoulders as you push outwards in the first movement, holding a tense position for a few seconds. In the second movement exhale and gradually tense as you expand the arms outwards, again holding a tensed position for a few seconds.
