From the Baby Boomer Math Dunce - What is an absolute value. Is it just the positive number of the reference number? AND when or why would I need to use it? I feel so LOST! My co-workers used to call me "Excel" because I could make wonderful things happen in layered spreadsheets, with macros and linking, lookups and such. But - Susan - you've got me whooped!

Okay ... Excel is SOOO cool! Haha, we used it to create mock budgets and loan repayment sheets in one of my computer science classes, and I wound up using it to figure out how much I'd need to earn to pay for college this year! Thanks for sharing this formula; every new formula for Excel is just one more wonderful tool to add to the register!! :)
