How to make a slightly healthier version of this American bar food.

You will need some chicken wings, hot sauce, butter (or a pre made wing sauce), and a large bowl to toss them in !

TOTALLY WRONG!!!! From the recipe to the cooking procedure, WRONG!!! HEALTHY and BUTTER do not go together in the same sentence, not to mention the same recipe. Plus, this person wasted half of their bottle of hot sauce...WAY TOO MUCH! First, you bake the wings slowly, on low heat, until the juices run clear. Take the wings out of the oven, and crank up the heat to 500. Then, add your RedHot sauce if that's what you're using, into a blender with half of a very ripe banana (almost mushy!) for every cup of hot sauce you're using. One cup will easily coat 15 wings. Now add a shot of white wine (REAL wine... NOT cooking wine). Blend until smooth. Then toss your wings with the hot sauce mixture. Arrange the wings flat on a baking sheet and bake in the very hot oven until they just barely start to brown. No butter, much healthier, no wasted sauce.

Question, why not just bake them with sauce on it w/o butter/margerine? That's healthier yet. I either just use hot sauce or bbq sauce with hot sauce, no butter and they're crispy.

Margaine is like eating plastic. Can't be good for you.

I used to make this recepie regularly. My wife saw this and said she misses my wings. I recommend using Magarine instead of butter.
