Makes me long for the days when your groceries came in paper instead of plasstic. Thanks for reminding those of us who knew (and forgot) about these book covers, and for introducing them to a whole new generation.! Great Work!!

Oh, yes this does bring back fond memories! Not only does the brown bag make a great protective cover for the book, but it's also fun to scribble and doodle on it as well.

My brothers and sisters used to do this when we were all still in school. Like another commenter said, somehow they used to slip the book into the flaps. This brings back sweet memories.

Hi, Nice video. And it brings back memories. But I'm remembering brown paper bag bookcovers more as an economic thing. We didn't have to buy book covers, which saved money;and when we turned our books in at the end of the year, the fines for wear and tear were minimal since that heavy brown paper protected them.
